So there we were, walking up a hill. out of the blue a bench appeared!
At first we just caught a glimpse of it:

Comfort: Very comfy, and the added middle arm rest means more people can lean while they snack on an orange / marsbar. The Bench plaque didn't distract from the comfort of the bench at all. it read "In The MEmory of Don Pitt-Pladdy The Gill 17/01/1926 to 10/02/2007"
View: The View was really nice, as can be seen above, even looking to the left and right. the View looks out right across Ulverston Canal and out to sea, on a clear day you can see Blackpool tower and even the big one.
Overall BenchMark: 4.5/5, this bench had the views and the comfort, however has lost a mark because it is randomly hidden until you were almost on top of it!
As we approached, we realised this was indeed a bench and not just a handy bit of wood sticking out from behind a tuft of grass!
Taking a look at this bench we felt, well a bit underwhelmed, it looked like any normal bench. You know the type, just a seat, nothing special. And thinking about it, we were totally right! It is literally just a bench! Nothing more, nothing less.
The position: Ideal, slightly tricky to get too as it is off the main path, however well worth the detour to get to it.
